Still like the wheelie stage? That puppy needs a extended chassis ! I hated the X for that reason. But looks good for sure.

I did when I first got into the savage way back. thought it was the coolest thing. Then I spent a year just making the chassis not stand up after getting into the higher output mills... Ill never forget my LRP in a X chassis. I loved to hate picking that thing of its lid ..
 
wheelies are one of those things that are always cool. i thought about building an x chassis out of spare parts to thrash on just because. 130 for a .28 LRP clone is a nice price! good find.

I'm all about getting good deals when these were selling at auction a few months back you could get one in the 100 dollar price range on ebay. some of the bumpstart versions are still at auction and can be had for in the 100$ price range.

there was a another motor i was looking at but could never find one in stock. its a Fusion .28. its the same as a picco P3 .28. some european online hobby shops have them in stock for 119 euro. plus shipping to the states you would still be getting a good deal.

I'm not sure of the two speed setups first gear ratio compaired to a three speed's first gear. but if you do go FLM tvps and are running a powerful motor/pipe combo, it will wheelie when you drop the hammer. my truck almost backflips from a stand still.
 
just watched your vid again. that mill rips and doesnt appear to be "stock" to me. :thinking:

lol no it really is stock. this was filmed just after break-in (.5 gallon) its not stock anymore I did some flow mods to the sleeve cause i broke two LST shock caps and they are on backorder but the parts are leaving on the 1st so I should have some video up when I get the Losi shock caps.

here is some pics of the sleeve now. I haven't ran it yet
