I normally don't bump topics but I need all the help I can on this!

Your way too rich for one. Get your truck tuned right and then adjust the shift points on the tranny. Counter clock for earlier shift and clock wise for later shift. Check out the tuning videos for the engine and tranny. I have to go so I had to keep it brief, good luck.

Also it sounds like the clutch has excessive slip...alot of rev but no momentum causing the tranny not to shift correctly.

I had kinda the same problem , turned out that my slipper clutch was way toooooo loose

OK I adjusted it again tonight and I found that my spur gear was slipping a lot, nut was about to fall off......did some cleaning, adjusting, and replaced a joint post....gonna do some testing tomorrow and hope it works!

lol thats what I thought, I screwed w/ mine like u have and found that was the problem
