My rebuild

After having my SS 4.6 for a few years I have finaly decided its time to revamp my truck. I have broken so many parts and ripped screws out of plastic parts that I had to redrill my tvps to fit bigger screws, now things are getting loose. Heres the plan for the rebuild.

FLM EXT LCG TVP
Hexscrews kit
X radio box
FLM tvp brace
FLM steering bracket
FLM Harned front driveshaft
replacing all threaded parts that mount to TVP except the tranny case
40 series tires on cheyenne tires
Modded my K4.6
and some other minor items

I am hoping the rebuild will withstand my bashing. I am not terrible but I hate worrying about parts braking.

I thought long and hard ("thats what she said") and I decided that I don't want the mid tank, at least at this time. I don't like that the the elctronics are not all the protected and if you use the cen radio box the tank is still small. In the future I may change but for right now I am just going to use either the tower terror tank or the ofna tank

a skid plate wouldnt be a bad thought for your basher. just to add that lil bit of cushion

well today is a bittersweet day. I think my RX died. don't know for sure it just dosent work at all 🙁 so now i had to go get a new radio. The rx where going to cost me at least 60 + shipping. and since I could not be sure what wasnt working I decided to get a 3pm fasst. Honestly if it wasnt for towers incredible deal. I would have just got another 3pm 75mhz combo.
The cheapest I found was a magnum for $120 plus shipping. The deal at tower was $199 for the combo a free servo S3004 (13.99) $10 manu rebate, this week only $25 off and total over $199. so i got the combo for 165 w/free servo wasnt to bad. I just didnt wanna spend this money after I spent a fair amount on all the other upgrades owell I will feel better when I get it.
Oh yea I also got my used proline wheels and tires in the mail today. they are proline bowties that have excellent tread mounted and balanced on proline dishes that I got for $15.50 shipped off of ebay

and its sturdy too. I recently flipped my truck into a cinder block pillar on my house. It hit directly on it and only put a pin size chip in my head

Just clean up the truck and tooks some pics. Some of the changes as of late are, Proline bowties mounted on proline chyenne's that I dyed black, robinson racing hardend spur and cb combo 48/16. I also relocated the battery to the rear of the truck.
