i don't have the fancy piece with the set screw in it so i had to impervise so this is what i came up with i thought it came out good and was pretty clever... enjoy.

psssh getto i just took a extra hpi easaust spring stuck it in a vice and un wined one coil

freddy suggested to me that I use the stock HPI polished mount, but cut up a coat hanger.. Maybe try that ? Good idea nonetheless though, just thinking of other options which it seems you were looking for

ronnie take the hpi spring and un wine a coil or two if need and adjust where to put so much cleaner and use use stock hardware still and its way stronger . just my 2 cents

no hardware needed but a small piece of rod that i had lying around,
took no time to make and works perfect.
