My new ramp

I was bored today so I built a ramp for my truck. Here is some video of bashing with new ramp.

And I striped out the steering servo but that is alright gives me a reason to upgrade.

Nice one!! I'm so lazy I bought 2 2' skateboard launch ramps and put a piece of 4'x4' under the end for a "kick out". The nice thing about them is they stack into each other and fit nice in the back of my Cherokee for some mobile assault bashing!!!

That is why I got a truck to lug my stuff around. And I am cheap and built it out of scrap wood in the garage.

How much does it weigh (apprx) and what plywood did you use for the surface?

I think it is around 25 lbs and it is made out of some old 1/2" plywood non treated.

I notice you use the Goliaths and piggy back shocks as well. Are they the MSR8's? I can jump mine off of my house.

Nice ramp. You can go bigger with that setup.

Yes they are the MSR8's and I don't like them the fronts have been hanging up and I love my Goliaths. This is my starter ramp and it stores nice in the garage but some time later I will go bigger.

Nice.
If they are hanging, they are probably bent ever so slightly. You can usually straighten them without tools.

They look straight but I think I had the top mounts to tight.

I also just built myself a new ramp today. Got the plans from HERE

Got everything I needed at Rona and then assembled at home, cost me about $80 for the wood, hinges, screws, and chain.
