My New Body

Hey guys, finally got some time to cut and install my new body. I have had it for awhile now and decided to try it out. It's a proline desert rat for a slash. I have always liked the look of the sc truck bodies on a savage. I was initially going to go all black but then decided to keep it clear and put some stickers on it. I think it came out pretty good. The mounting post gave me a little truoble. The were to short and I could not get the pin through it. So I used the extra body post that came with the truck (extended one) and cut four pieces from it. Then I cut the stock short ones off and drilled a hole through both of them and screwed it together. Now I have a couple extra holes and it is real strong too. Anyways thought I would share this with everyone. Thanks Terry

That l looks good on it. Like the way you still can see the truck chassis through it. Hope you took the protective film off it before you out the stickers on. Thx for sharing.

Thanks guys. I wanted to try something different. Ya I took the film off too. The chassis and motor was my main reason why I kept it clear. I figure it's a shame to hide such beauty. Terry

Thank you fellas. Well hopefully it will stand up to a good day of bashing. Or I could put the stocker XL body back on for that. Just have to drill some new holes then it's good to go. Terry
