thanks judge like i said i followed alot of what you did so THANK YOU!! I am just waiting for a few things like my brake linkage and a new humpback but yeah i can't wait to see how this setup works.

I'm sorry guy, I have to call you out on this. You have A killler lookin truck, one of the best. So don't give me wrong. I know all about custom savys, check out my all metel one (click my Sig). But I don't see 2k??? I had spent over 1k on my, but i have a lot more metel on the thing.

I do have a lots :resp: for you. The truck looks great. You need to send a photo to XRC meg. That truck would make the cut.

2k does seem a bit steep, but i don't know what all you have in it.

i have about $300+radio gear+initial cost of truck. so about $800 total? take or give $50.

this hobby can get expensive fast, ive just gotten deals on all the stuff i have gotten for my truck.
 
So what wold be you suggestion on mounting a reverse to that? if you have the ST servo on the bottom middle of the plate where can I mount the Reverse? or can I? Cheers!!:beer:
 
lol calling me out huh that's alright. the reason it was soo high is when i first got into the hobby i went with like a show truck with aluminum everything. Their wasn't a thing on it hat wasn't aluminum arms, integy shocks, new tvp's, bulks i mean everything. Well after I kept breaking crap I got out of the hobby for awhile. And then I went on a few forums and caught the bug again. So this is basically my second full build on it. Plus It was an original ss so i had to buy all the radio gear and servos. So just add up building an all aluminum shelf queen then the one that I built that you see here. Trust me it adds up and in now way am i bragging or anything. Not very proud about dropping that much in a toy lol.
 
oh yeah the blue bulkhead braces are not rpm stuff. i deanodized the ugly purple and then rattle canned it with some heat resistant paint aluminum paint (forgot what kind). I actually didn't like it when I was done because I thought it would chip right off so I tried to take it off with greased lightning (same i used to deanodize hpi parts) and it wouldn't come off. Soooo I had to use a dremel with a wire wheel take it all off and I painted them again. Metal to Metal contact is the only thing that will scratch it so it should hold up
 
the piper, I have never ran reverse so I would be guessing really. Everything mounts on top of the flm servo plate so their is room to rig something up underneath but I don't know what the linkage looks like anyways, sorry bro
 
I really like that truck sticconi, just saw it. I know it's been said but those black FLM tvps are freaking sweet looking. I like the way it's alll set up clean too, looks like a pro built it.
 
thanks i can guarantee you this it will not be clean once I get the rest of the parts and break it in lol

You guys looked at my sig. Talk about expensive. I know how expensive this hobby is. Hey I have 400 heli + 250 eletric motor + 250 6 ch specktrum radio and gear. That is still in boxes, I have not built the dam thing yet. I hate myself.

ok I can see that. Your truck only tho is not 2k. You are scaring people with that number! lol If we are talking just about adding then both my savys have cost me dearly. My wife hates me! I hate me! But my 2yo boy likes my TOYS!!! Our toys, our! lol

Anyways you going to send the pics to XRC Mag? I will make it.

Where did you find the black FLM TVPs? They look great and I wouldn't mind having a set.
 
nickmind, when i get my body i'll submit it and see what happens, thanks. i ordered to tvps from addicted2rc.com They had them in stock when i ordered but they run out quick, i just checked and they have them in stock!
