I know this is an Off-road type forum. I have done some off-road, but this past summer was mainly dedicated to on-road action. I took some time gathering the parts I needed to finish this 1/5 MCD 4x4 rally car. The one thing I can say for sure having a good plan & taking your time in a build is worth every second ! Here is the finished product :

I hope you like it. I'm sure there are some guys here who play on-road a bit too. I like to capture the first runs of my cars on video. This one is no exception. Thanks to a wife who is Awesome ! I get that opportunity.

Once again, watching in High quality is way better.

yes that does look really quick!!! looks like it will handle awsome at high speeds, thanks for sharing!!

I'm glad you guys like it.

The MCD's have 12 gear ratios to chose from. Mine is geared to run in the 55m.p.h. range in the video. A 2 speed would be very fun to mess with ! The company has been working on one for some time. We'll see if it makes it to production. I can only imagine these cars running at 80 m.p.h. though ... Just at the end of our warm summer season, we got the chance to run on a local go-cart track. Seeing how amazingly faster than the carts they were, was incredible. There was hardly no one around, until we started screaming around there making noise. Many people had to stop by to watch & ask questions. The track was a great time. Looking forward to some organization next year.

Here is a video of that action:
Once again High Quality is best.
