if i recall correctly, the last time i ran her, the rear end was scrapin if i hammered it, lol. so i had put on the other 4 shocks, but alas they came back off. the handling is sooo much better low for high speed runs.

love it or hate it, no matter to me cuz i love it!!! lol
but opinions are great to hear.

second time I seen the pipe like that, think it's just so the oil and stuff doesn't make a mess.
What I did with my pipe was take the 3 screws out turn it one hole back towarda the truck so the stiger faces you, cut the square end of the hanger, drill a small hole thro the end and mount it back up, with doing this you get a mean side exhaust, no mess or need for a deflector and it's free!

it doesnt run as good with the tip pointed up. the truck is really hard to start for some reason. i tried it when i put my lst shocks on for laughs, and it didnt impress me. deflectors cost like 1.25 for 2.

just tryin it, not too sure i like it yet or not. lol

thanx guys.

rpm uppers eh? hmmmm

looking great!!! sits nice and low thats for sure!! but i think i would rather the oil and junk that sprays out of the exhaust to shoot down not up in the air like that and it probabally creates higher backpressure as the exhaust has to be pushed harder to make it exit makes sense anyway that it doesnt run right like that!!

I'm thinking with it pointed up it would cause more back presure as shaun said also will not let the accumliated oil drain out if there is any...and maybe , worse case, hydro lock the motor..if that can be done on nito engines...resulting in bent rod and possibly a destroyed crank..

thaks for all the comments and advice guys.

well, as for the exhaust, i drilled a drain hole, and it's plugged with a screw and o-ring. the switch was opened up and siliconed, as well as the receiver, which is velcro'd and zip-tied to the bottom of the tank.
ends of all wires were given silicone as well.

so, the electrics are all underboard except the th/bk servo obviously. that was part of the reason for making the full skidplate.

alot of what i do is ideas i've garnered from sc, toyz or here. then adapted to my own liking.

but i love it low for speed. something about jumping so much money makes me heart jump.lol at least for now with only 1 truck. who knows in the future.

i shouldn'ta put that pic of my th servo on here!! now everytime i see it i wanna go rip it off the truck and make a proper plate for it.

sheeeesh.

thaks for all the comments and advice guys. not too sure about alum arms, like the look, not the weight or endurance.
