ok, as some of you may know, I own an hpi savage x 4.6 2012 version. I have some mods on it, but not a whole lot. I will have to post o bunch of posts, because the pictures aren't working right.

list of mods:
moto saver{ thanks woodie}
venom 1200mah hump pack
futaba 23305 throttle servo
hitec hs645mg sterring servo
hd gasline
ss brake kit
pull start
hobbico exuast deflector

it also has all new shock, new center dogbones, new gears, new muffler seal, new header spring, and savage 25 arms on the front. and the header is not new. I painted it with vht paint. {very high temperature} the paint can withstand 2000 degrees Fahrenheit.

ya outta host your pictures at Photobucket, that way ya can post actual size pics right to the forum, makes it much easier for people to view them without havin to open another window or tab to see full size...

Oh ya i forgot to mention that air filter, Looks good , only thing I would do is put a ziptie on the base to make sure it stays on the carb.....

It shouldn't be opening in a new window for you. It should just open within the same tab. Nonetheless I edited the thread so instead of showing thumbnails it's showing the full size version.

Nice looking air filter @rcnut14 😉

thanks, woodie. I couldn't get it to work with the full size pics. and jam, I didn't zip tie it because I have to take it off a lot. it fits nice, though

@rcnut14 you really should secure the air filter. Last thing you want is that to pop off while you're out bashing.

Either zip ties (cheap) or use small pipe clamps like this:

I did this a LONG time ago... well before manufactures started doing this setup out of the factory. My cold air intake mod used a traxxas pipe exhaust back then. 😀

yea, ive been held back. I tried to paint it, but the latex in the paint clogged my airbrush. did I do something wrong? i'm just using plain paint thinner, like I always have.
