My hpi savage doesn't turn over

Just bought a second hand hpi savage 25 but when the glow plug is put in it doesn't turn over the roto start just spins round while gasket does not move an inch this also happened on my 21 but I sold that.

If u know how to help please do

one way bearing is out 13$ fix

the 1 way bearing could simply just need a cleaning, I would try that first and see if that helps, they at times get oily and slip causing a nonstart condition......

this is what I would do. pull the motor, pull the rotostart backplate, wipe off the oil, and turn the owb with ur fingers. if it still doesn't grab, try turning it jerkily. if it still doesn't grab, buy a new one
