hey guys i figured after a night of wrenching on his truck i could show pictures. It was kind of nice to work on a regular old nitro again. everything seems so simple when its not modified. lol. I just gave it a good spit polish and tore it all apart to make sure everything was ready for him. Things i found were
shocks overfilled
screws missing
no loctite on any threads
and dirty
after it all cleaned up i was amazed. this thing is mint. must have never been bashed. all in all it was a good ebay find.
I took it for a drive before i cleaned it just to make sure if was shifting right and everything was working right and i gotta say stockers are fun after your used to EXT chassis. lol. The axial was pulling wheelies like it was nobodies business. Buddies picking the truck up sun i think so ill hopefully get some video of the debut (for him) run.
