The plants are all plastic. The drift wood was mostly found around the Miss. river shore. Some came from Africa via Ebay. The fish are African cichlids. They are fresh water fish. Very colorful and easy to maintain. I try to keep my tank as close to natural looking as possible. The fish like it. The yellow ones you see (Labidochromis) are breeding like crazy. Theres another clutch of babies hiding in there along with a few other fish. My shy Regal peacock is also hiding. With so much cover, you never see all of them at once.

I would love to have a set up like that or possibly a salt set up. The pet stores I used to deal with had some beautiful salt water fish. But with kids running around that can't keep their hands to themselves I think it is better that I hold off for now :dmt:
