thanks!

and yes....time definetly was put into this thing. Last summer i was working on it from the time i awoke to early hours of the next morning. Reason i spent many hours into it all at once was cuz this Skyline was set out to be in HNIC for that summer (year i finally got my hands on the car) waited months for the RB25DET to arrive from Japan before i could get it from Vancouver. Anyhow...still plans ahead such as the Emanage so i can set my boost to 15PSI, spacers for the wheels to bring them flush with the fenders as they are rolled, etc...

Sweet Skyline. I just wish they were easier to get over here. The Greddy E-Manage is sweet. Way to go Stand alone, However you can get the boost above 15#'s with out a Emanage system for much cheaper and easier. But the Emanage is a great way to get an exact tune. You'll need a dyno with O2 readings and a few other great gadgets but maybe you have some of them.

actually......lol
the Emanage is not the best option here!

with that being said neither is above 15PSI on stock tubby, HG and studs. These RB's are very sensitive to detonation due to the materials used on the internals. Pushing this to 15 PSI needs some sort of engine management as the NISSAN ECU will not permit above 12 PSI. Above 12 PSI and the limiters send a signal telling the ECU it is seeing far to much air, then shuts down (bucking the car). You can dial up the PSI using a boost controller (in my case a custom grainger valve) but slowly bringing it up to as close to but not over the 12 PSI limit also noting not to again, go over 12 PSI from an unseen spike occuring.

Also noting keeping the tubby cool at all times upping the PSI using full 3" mendrel bent exhaust, testpipe along with the FMIC installed.
