Hey guys I know there are a hundred threads about this but I'm going to ask anyway because my add takes over and i get lost. I just bought the ofna 250cc titan deluxe fuel tank, obviously it can go no where else but where the battery box sits now on my savage x what parts do I need to buy in order to mount the tank properly, relocate my throttle servo and battery box and be done 100%? I want to get all the parts together so I don't have to wait for additional pieces.

mount ofna tank to running stock savage x ss tvps
relocate throttle servo and radio box

just want to know all the parts i need so i can buy them within the next day or so.

thanks,
f1n

the only mount I have seen for that tank is the one I got from Larson. The other parts I don't know off the top of my head.

Bank can you post Pict's of how you mounted it onto you stock chassis? If you don't want to post them please Pm me them or a link. I have many people asking how to mount this and I haven't mounted my kits to stock TVP's.

Jason I have yours in my FLM TVPs. But its just like any other stock mod you need to drill in the rear plate support holes. My stock tvp mid modded truck I used the FLM plate of my FLM kit.

Really you had to drill the holes in the FLM chassis to add it. You must have old FLM TVP's or something because I designed the plate to fit into there kits and into mine. I actually installed a 250cc into my truck 2 weekends ago and will post a how to shortly of it I just haven't had time. It was a direct drop in, I didn't touch a thing just assembled. Who knows like I have always said I have seen atleast 3 different revisions on there TVP sets.

larsen if you have a plate that will fit the stock tvps its no big thing for me to drill out 2 countersunk holes for the back of the plate as long as it fits. I also want to know how you guys mount the throttle servo. ill buy the rpm battery box or just mount my hump on the front shock tower. i think i saw a thread where someone made a custom box for that anyway.

Jay ??? NO no no no for a stock TVP! its a drop in for FLM. But this thread and your question was about putting it in stock TVPS... I would not recommend your kit for anyone looking to custom mount a plate in stock Tvps though. No offence Jay but you need a better servo mount. It works but is a lil bit limiting in one direction. A longer horn and linkage does correct this. But noobs may have trouble. But lets keep in mind this will work with Most aftermarket TVPs out with no issues. The plate is sweet and there's no better or good looking way to mount that tank on the savage on the market.

This plate has been trouble free for me for Gallons now and I love it. I in no way want to deter a sale nor do I not recommend this plate for its marketed purpose. Short answers can be read many ways so just to be clear!!!
