Man it was one wild weekend of racing. I went to motorama in Harrisburg Pa. I figured i would go and see how i would do against the big guys (Factory Drivers) It started out with practice on friday, quifying all day saturday, and the mains on sunday. I was racing Electric monster truck, and 2wd mod short course. In the monster truck class i was the only FLUX, the rest were e-revos. I was practicing okay. I ended up quilifying 2nd do to glitching problems. Although i am 2.4gh i still was glitching because there were like 150-200 2.4 radios on at one time. The robot wars were right next to us and the nitro was on the other side of the building. There were 6 trucks in my class including me. Soon as i figured out a solution to the glitching problem it was on. They ran 3 A-mains. The first a-main i came in second with glitching problems. In the second and third a-main i put 2 laps on the feild. The track was tight and my flux has flux xl plates on it. They added up the points from the mains and i took the win in the electric monster truck class.in the 2wd mod short course class i didnt run my truck (slash aka peice of crap) I ran my friends sc-10 because he had to run in the nitro building. He ran two qulifyers with his truck and i ran two with mine. I ran the last quilifyer with his truck and the main. I got his truck into the B-main with the super good guys. I started last in the B-main and ended up coming in 1st at the end. I defently like the blitz and sc-10 out of all the trucks. The slash is on another planet. At the end of the day i came first in electric monster truck and 1st in 2wd mod short course B-main. It was a great weekend and one of the best races i have attended. I want to say a BIG thanks to Bryan from SMC BATTERYS. He will help anyone when ever he can. After each time i drove the track i asked him how did i look and he gave me very helpful tips. I ran SMC packs all weekend. Bryan did a awsome job with both of his blitz's. He came first in the 2wd short course spec class and i think 4th or 5th in the mod class A-MAIN. I think we both put hpi on top and made them look good. Although i wasnt able to get a blitz before i got there like i planned too i think i did good with the sc-10. I want to say thanks to everybody that helped me to make this all happen

Thanks
Travis.

P.s ill post pics of the trophy and of me with the HOOTERS trophy girls😛artyon:

Congrats! Love to see the Revos get spanked. I notice it says 1/10 scale monster truck on the trophy. Am I missing something? I don't know anything about the racing classes.

Those girls look better with Nitro Circus all in their hands.

Don't give the whole "PRO" stuff too much attention, you know you can drive, so just drive the hell out of your truggy and give em hell.. I just got my Truggy and plan on racing it this wknd if the weather holds up so.. I'll keep you all posted.

Travis did an awesome job this weekend. I'd be scared to see what would have happend if he would have had the SC10 the whole time. You picked the field apart in the B main. The Monster truck class was yours to lose. Once you got settled in and worked on the cleaner lines that we discussed you had no problem laying it down. Just a side note to everyone...The guy who finished 2nd to Travis, finished 2nd in the Truggy class last year. Says a lot for Travis' driving.

The BLITZ was def. the truck of choice in the SC classes. I did drive an SC10 at the event and it had WAY more turn in than my BLITZ. I do think tho that with more tuning and track time that my BLITZ can be better. I wish it would have handled like my stock BLITZ...All I can say is, SLOT CAR!!!

I wish there was a Hooter's closer to me than Manassas. :jumpers: Kinda wish the girls around here looked like those lovely ladies.

No matter what you run, mark your calendar for next year. You will not be disappointed.

Thanks Bryan. Thanks for the kind words.
Theres 2 hooters like 5-15min away from my house. They both have hooter girls that are in the calender:motorcycle:

Mike,

Can I be your 1st sponsored driver :beforeme::beforeme::beforeme:...LMAO

The bodies looked great until the event started. I think I got drop kicked in every round of practice. The paint has held up but the bodies are cracked pretty bad. The bodies were a lot of hype in the pits and from the crowd that watched over the weekend. Even the Hooter's girls said they watched the show and loved the bodies😎
