Ok, so I just did the Alloy Diff cup upgrade and I used the HPI Alloy cups.. I installed everything to the way the instructions included said too, popped them in the truck and did what I had to so I could also add shims.

I got the diffs shimmed and everything put back onto the truck and thought I was done till I found out something else was wrong..

When I turn the rear wheels the two fronts spin along.. which is normal I take

When I spin the left front wheel, the right front will also spin slowly in the same direction as the left wheel is spinning, the symptoms are the same for either side on either end of the truck... what is possibly wrong or is this normal?

oh yeah, and Its a 30k in front and 50k in the rear.. I'm starting to stray away from the pavement running and doing more offroad bashing in grass/dirt but there are still points where I hit some pavement

i think that is normal for a fresh rebuild as long as things move freely and all that you should be fine. Can you hold one wheel and spin the other with no binding?

Yeah sounds normal to me-it depends on the weight of the oil in the diffs on a fresh build. Thick and both spin in same direction and thin they spin the opposite way. And like X25 said to no binding?

ye if you put a high weight oil in it will make the diffs act like they are locked so ye that is normal.

Ok, well I was searching around on here and I found for general all around bashing a good combo was a 30k Front / 50k Rear

I'm glad to hear that this is normal, I was concerned that It wasn't because I remember how the diffs built stock acted, and these were alot different.

when I hold one of the tires and roll the other, It does spin without binding.. the action on the spin seems a bit thick.. I'm assuming this is just the diff oil doing It's job.

also are their any cons to a 30k/50k setup?

thanks guys for the replies, I appreciate it..

mmm forgot u were runnign such a high oil nissan shoulda reminded me last night lol

yea is acting like a locked diff, if ur still uneasy just take it apart to make sure everything is fine but it should be, grab both wheels and turn just one with the rears ont he groudn so they don't move you shoudl feel the other frotn wheel force in ur hand the other way some

It didn't cross my mind sorry Crzy..

I had the front out to check everything over and popped It back in the truck.. I haven't had a chance to run a tank yet, between football and cold weather but everything rolls smooth.

I keep ahold of one tire and spin the other and It spins just with a thicker feel because of the heavy oil but no other problems

Thanks guys
