I have seen and been told that if you mix match springs you can gain something. I'm guessing control. i have stock shocks using black springs. I also have a new set of red springs. now here is my goal.

1. i do not want my truck to even know what a wheelie is.

i was told by placing the red shocks on the front or back side of each end of the truck it will help but i want some pro advice. what do i need to do to fly high, take the landings and improve on wheelie control?

slipper has nothing to do with this. I'm guessing the red will go in the back of both ends but not sure and I'm also guessing i need two different oils. right now i have all 8 filled with losi 50 wt. any help will be awesome.

not sure how to stop wheelies, I

1. lowered my shock shafts over 3/4"
2. no spacers
3. stock springs
4. 47spur/19cb
5. 1/16 revo tied to front

and it still rips wheelies.

I'm running stock shocks w/ black springs & 30wt oil on all 4 corners. No spacers at all and the truck handles pretty good. Absolutely no bounce (and that's dropping it from chest high). To keep it from pulling wheelies, I just try and use good throttle control.

Are you running extended TVP's. If not you should. I have an XL and it rips wheelies with the terrapins on, but I also have a set of Goliath tires on black Tremor wheels and between the added weight and slightly less traction it won't wheelie anymore unless helped out by a bump. But it handles great with them on, I'm pretty happy with them now. If I get a more powerful mill they may spin too much but we'll have to see about that one. Lower your shocks and run your springs as soft as you can. The stiffer the springs are the more they transfer movement to your chassis instead of absorbing it. If it body rolls too much you could add the HPI sways to help eliminate side to side movement. They made a huge difference in the handling of my truck.

ill jut look at lancerins photos and do as he did he has to know what he is doing and i think he runs red on the back o both ends o the truck or visa sersa
