mid tank mod

I'm going to do the midtank setup but i cant get any good pics on how to mount the throttle servo, so if anyone has ideas or good pics it would be much appreciated

Heres my one I just finished doing:

Yes it is a nice difference in stability. The weight is much better transfered in the mid tank, not necessarly from side to side but it is from front to back. What an improvement expecially on an extended chassis. Here are a few picts of mine.

i cut up the radio box and used the original servo mount

Basically the throttle servo is a pretty straight forward thing. Try to make the brake rod as straight as possible. I bent mine when I first did the mid tank mod and the brakes were terrible. The rod has too much flex. I have now put a new rod on it and mounted it slightly differently so it isn't bent. Haven't tested it in driving conditions but it seems to work very well in the garage.

Larsen is that the Hellfire tank you show in your midtank mod, or is it another tank?

Yup Thyrfing that is the hellfire tank. I have cleaned it up some now by adding the hellfire fuel line clamps and things, it looks very nice now however its sitting at my LHS at the moment on display so I cant get updated pictures of it and knowing me I forgot to get some before I took it there.
