LST Wheels?

Has anyone put LST wheels on their savage? A friend of mine and I just stuck on his set of stock LST rims & tires on my savage and they look great, I'm just wondering if theres a conversion/adapter to make this happen.

actually if you buy a set....Losi's website says they come with adapters for savage and tmaxx. i can send you a link that says that if you like......
don't buy off ebay and expect to get the adapters.... a lot of them are takeoffs

but i don't think thats what i need, i think this is for 17mm hex wheels on your LST2.

Does anyone know the part number i need?

Be specific. The original LST had 14mm hex just like the original Savage. If your Savage has 14mm hexs and theyre LST wheels (magneto) no adapters needed. The LST2 has 20mm hexs. An odd size that nobody likes. Most LST2 owners convert to 23mm hexs by using CEN hubs.

So what size hex is on the Savage and what LST wheels do you have?

i have 17mm on my Savage XSS (stock, I'm guessing they are 17.) and the wheels are LST2 20mms

Having said that, would there not be problems with going to such a large wheel? Ive heard of clutch issues, as well as motors being overworked.

no problems....just make sure u got good clutches.....and a decent motor!

The lst2 wheels are 40 series in size. i would just get the 23mm adapters and some 23mm dish rims with 40 series tires.
