If the engine is badly flooded it can be very hard to pull the starter.I would make sure the mill is not flooded. then take the pullstart off the mill and check for exsess dirt sometimes it gets in. Good luck!

just stuck...cant pull. i'd have to play with flywheel for a bit, then free again. breakin in process only

IMO it could be that the engines compression is just that tight. Hope fully after breakin that should fade. How hard is it to turn the flywheel manually.

I had to do that with my last mill i got,i was useing a starter box so i never got the stuck pull start. It scared the @#$% out of me thought i killed it.Took it to the lhs.The guy told and showed me it was normal for a tight engine.I had to turn the flywheel with screwdriver before starting,it loosend up once broken in.Hope this helped!

try preheating the mill :dunno:
170 ish with a heat gun or blow dryer and the mill will start right up. Preheating allows the sleeve to expand allowing the piston to have less friction on the up stroke (i.e making it easy to pull) and if you preheat during break-in your sleeve and piston wont ware out so fast.

should i start leaning it out at the lsn???

To be save run a whole jug (1 gallon) of nitro through your mill at a rich but not to rich setting, basically take it easy for the first gallon to make sure you have broken the mill in 100%. I know the book says 5-6 (i think) tanks and you can start leaning the mill out and bashing but if you want your mill to last take the break-in slow and allow the engine to cool at BTD after each tank or if your doing the heat cycle every 10 mins.
