well I'm my savage is really taking shape. i have yet to run it and the racing suspention kit is installed and I'm in the process of retro fitting RC8 rear shocks on all 4 courners(4 shock setup) next is the engine. I can sell the stock k5.9 on ebay for just about what i can get a LRP .28 or .30 for. my question is starting? i will NOT use a pull start and was wondering what is needed mount the rotostart to it. I'm hoping it just as simple as pulling the pull starter off and mounting a rotostart back plate.

thanks in advance everyone

Yep, they sell a backplate for the rotostart. I found one for an Axis mill for $18.. search and i'm sure you'll find it. Someone will probably jump in with a link sooner or later..

There are a few guys here that run those mills. Someone will know the part number I'm sure. Sounds like the truck is coming along nicely, let's see some pics.

pics soon to come. want to get a few more and ill make a nice big post. i want to do step by step on the racing suspension and how i mount the shocks.

I am going with the RC8 shocks because my buddy has the rc8 RTR and is upgrading his shocks to bigbores. so i snagged his rears and got another set for 24.99. going to install tinitrade shafts and hellfire pink 134gf springs to start. as for the moters i found the STS 28. its only 100 bucks but looks nasty nasty. still debating if i want to run the k5.9 to start or sell it and get another mill.

on a side note if someone reads this that can change the " what's a glow plug??" thing under my name it would be great. I may be new to savage but i have been a seasond 1/8 racer for years.
