While reading our club forums someone posted that they left 4 cars, 4 gallons of fuel, radios, parts, and some other stuff out at the track on the tables and that whoever wanted stuff they could keep it. This morning I rode out to the track and 3 of the cars were older cars, 1 being a radio shack car.

I happened to pick this car up. It does need a motor, speed controller, and steering servo. I also picked up about 4 cans of paint for bodies, the extra set of tires for the truck, a gallon of blue thunder fuel, and the parts that he had for the truck which was pretty much driveshafts, new chassis, tie rods and some other stuff.

Well here it is:

Not sure exactly what vehicle it is, still doing research on it.

well its a great start to a new "project" i would say!! wished i could help but i have no idea either what that is!!

thanks for the comments guys.

Yes the body caught my eye instantly...looking forward to get it running someday.

it looks like my olld losi buggy i used to have...the buggy was a xxx-4 or something like that....the chassis looks almost identical with the placement of motor, batterys, and steering servo placement....maybe its the truck version

after taking a close look at the first pic....that body is not its original...if u lookclosly between the shock tower at the front....that is where the front of the body is supposed to mount...looks identical to the one i used to have

Ok guys I tore it down today because the rear didn't spin like the front did......and wow the belt is terrible.....even taking it off about 1/2 the teeth on it just fell off.

i remember on mine the rear belt was a pain....and btw....there is supposed to be a plasic brace over the metal motor mount that goes over that metal plate...and it seems u r missing it...it screws into the 2 screws either side...if u don't have that ur motor will jus fall out

Yep I noticed that last night.....

I plan to put a brushed motor in it since it is an older buggy and getting parts later on might be hard to get.
