looking for good 3s

ive been running 2s on my savage xs for a while now and I'm looking for more power. i upgraded to the recommended gearing ration and now I'm looking for a good deal on 3s but the brand name also has to be acceptable. anyone have any suggestions on venom? ive been using onyx batteries and they seem good for their prices

well no not necessarily, there is some real garbage out there that can be dangerous and not very good, in the case of LiPo it seems to be alot of disparity among makers. but I have had decent luck with all the tenergy batteries I have gotten....

Especially so ,as Jam pointed out, with Lion/ LiPo batteries since they can be quite dangerous.

I don't know I've used different types of batteries from different brands and they all seem to perform pretty much the same.
Honestly the only ones I've had trouble with are the venoms.

OH NOOOO WAAYYY... I JUST BOUGHT 2 X 3S VENOMS 35C 5000MAH FROM AMAZON.! are they bad?

To put it this way.....I have 4 of those same batteries (venom 3s 5000mAh). 2 are now dead, only 1 is being covered for a free replacement. The other they will only give me a discount towards a new one. I personally wouldn't touch venom batteries anymore. And the venom warranty is garbage.

Personally, I'd stick with the 2s. I've ran a 3s in my xs and it's just not that fun to run, way to much power. I haven't got the website that I go to to order my batteries on my new phone yet, I'll have to remember to look it up on my old phone and post it for you.
