Having issues with you nuts?..Not those nuts, these....

=====================MODDING THE TRANNY's INPUT SHAFT NUT========================

When I was reminded of a problem I had with the tranny input shaft nut backing it's self out,
I thought you guys might want to hear this little fix for the issue.

When you go and buy some new replacements nuts for the input shaft, you can take two of these nuts and
file thier thicknesses down to half of the thickness of one nut, each.

By doing this, you can now have enough room on the input shaft to install these two half sized nuts
on the tranny's input shaft.

Before doing this, check the slipper pad for glazing.

If you find glazing on the pad, scuff it up with some 250 sandpaper and then reinstall the asembly.

Now, tighten these two nuts against each other after you've tightened down the spring. Use a couple
of pairs of needle-nose pliars. Tightenning them against eachother, prevents them from backing out.

Take a black sharpie and ink the nuts to look clean.

YOUR NUTS ARE DONE.lol

===============================Good Luck=======================================
