Hello all.....bought some used savages and one of the buttons on top of the engine had stripped out so whoever owned them used lock tight to fasten the glow plug.....it has now ran down inside the motor and hardened any ideas on how to get it out would like to try to save the sleeve and piston but if not is there a way to clean the block to reuse it or is this motor pooched and worth the time to fix?????thanks for the help n advance.

got any Pics of things . I think a bit of soaking in brakleen or carb clean outta loosen it up.....

Wow! Locktite in there?? Desperation beyond belief! Must have put TONS of it to hold a glowplug onto stripped button threads.
Seems the locktite melted from the heat, which loctite normally does and dripped down into the engine. Heating it with an Oven, heat gun may soften it and allow you to clean it bit by bit. Wear gloves tho as you have to work with it hot.
But try a soak method first tho...if that works then it's easier.
Await the pics!

If its the blue stuff, some penetrating oil will break it right down and you can wipe it away, even WD40 will work. The red type takes heat and oil.

Hope it all works out!
