Well I started a post on meeting byweekly or just once a month I should have made it a new thread so everyone could see. There is alot of people aroubd the GTA and west side of Toronto on this forum we should have some sort of byweekly or monthly get to gether(bashing group) We can set sertain weekends of the month and times to meet. From pros to beginners is would look and sound so cool a bunch of RC trucks/cars all going to gether. I envie the Amaricans they have local race/bashing tracks they have it down to a T.
We can set up a poll to see where the most popular place to meet up a poll for the best time and how many times a month to meet. It could be a perfect place to meet some new friends bring the kids or just a day out for the guys/girls. I don't have any buddys that like this hobby and the wife still calls it a dinky car:stressed: she is not to come. lol. You all seem nice to talk to Excellent advice on our problems this could turn out big if we find the right place. So lets show off our trucks and our bad landings. Let me know what you guys think maby fire this up closer to the spring? Also if you have any Idea's or seen a place just driving around that is wide open lots of parking jot it down or take a picture with you phone and post it here. In the mean time I'll start a poll on how many times a month we should meet. Cheers!!:beer:

Hey guys, I've been doing some research on meeting grounds in around the GTA. Most where on google. I'm going to lay down some address for people that live close. If you have some time or just your daily drive into work take some pics and let us know. I'm going to a place in Hamilton this week up the mountain I think there is a wide open place with lots of air. Ok here are the places I'm talking about. Ajax comuniy centre 75 centennial rd Ajax,Chinquacousy Park 9050 Bramalea rd Brampton, Free style BMX-lions sports park 99 thompson rd W, Welland skate park 145 Lincoln rd E Wellend. If anyone has info about these parks or pics let us know Cheers!!:beer:

Well I went out to two places yesterday one I've been eyeing and one by mistake. First the one I've got my eye set on I'll post pic later. Its in burlington ontario take QEW either way go walkers south to new street go east the park is call Nelson park 4225 New st on the north side of New st. If you have google earth you can see it clearly its a BIG BMX track. This could be a great place to meet once or twice amonth. There is a school there with lost of parking easy access to get to a big play ground if you bring the family swings slids exc.. The pictures I got were full of snow but it is HUGE for our trucks with deep ruts tall jumps and lots of dirt:rock:

As for the one by mistake I alreday have it out there on another post well kinda. After taking a detour home from Ajax I took the 403 west from Toronto got off the Upper middle/Ford Drve exit turned right on the next intersection wich was ninthline went north and just before you come up to that huge drive in it south of it. There is a big HPI banner there with a racing hut looks like a great dirt track but I ended up getting my truck stuck in the ditch I thought it was solid lol.:drunk: As for the parking it was tough to see from the snow and snow banks make from the plows. There is no play ground for kids as they will get bored. Also I'm not sure if this is a league or it open to all. There is no gates that keep it closed there is a fence that is formed around it. This looks like a great place also to get together. I'm still working around Toronto for one as it would be closer for some. I'll post the pictures of the burlington one just keep in mind that the white stuff is still around. Once I get three or four place round up I'll get a poll where people would like to meet. Sorry I almost forgot to add the Pictures. The ruts you see on the last picture is deep but the snow covers alot... Cheers!!

looks like a good spot....the bmx track here in milton is all locked up..and some guy off another forum is talking to the town about letting us rc guys use it this year if we help out a lil bit with maintaince
 
Well guys its getting nice out here so 'm putting a post on get together say June 8th I'm thinking it should be early around 8-9am cuz the BMX track does get used but there is lots of room for everyone. This place is in Burlington Ontario it has a nice kids park if you want to bring the kids and family. I'll through some pictures on here the track is excellent!! great HIGH jumps lots of room to strech our trucks. I like this area it's just off the QEW 30min from Toronto 40min from kitchener and area. For now I want to see if there is interest out there I say we start early so we have the rest of the day to get ready for work on monday.:drunk: I hope people will come out I think a bunch of RC going at the same time would be a site to see What do u think? Oh I'm bringing my crazy 4' shingle ramp :cwm27: Cheers!!:cheers:

Looks like a great place to tear up some body's and break some fuel tanks!

The place you saw by the drive-in on 9th line in oakville is an open track for everyone. It's not bad except that most of the guys that show up are hardcore racers. Maybe if we get enough people there we could own it for a while, and let experienced and non-experienced drivers alike have some fun. There is a play ground there for kids, although it's not super special, my Wife and daughters had some other fun rather than watching Dad race, or at least try too. Check out the link. Parking is actually in the drive in parking area.

if i had transportation during the day "wife has the car" i would be in for sure as i've said it to myself a thousand times them american boys are having all the fun! ha ha
