Here is a checklist for things that can cause your truck to run lean.
)Your motor is just tuned to lean
)Head screws are loose
)Gasket on backplate is bad
)HSN is loose
)Carb is not seated properly
)O ring around carb is bad
)O rings on carb pinch bolt are bad
)air leak between plastic and metal end of carb
)front engine bearing is bad
)Kink or Hole in fuel lines
)crack in fuel tank
)O ring around top of fuel tank is bad
)Fuel pickup in tank cloged
)Fuel filters cloged
)O ring on fuel filters bad
)pressure nipples on tank and/or pipe clogged
)Exsust gaskets bad
If anyone has another thing to add please do.
I know that some of these are very unlikely to occure but I put them on the list just incase. Better to check and have them be fine than to blow your motor up.
