Alright guys and gals. Here's a little problem I've been having lately. It seems to me that me carb is leaking from where the slide enters the main body. I've already taken the carb off (after sealing it) inspected, cleaned, and reassembled it. There is no o-ring or any type of seal between the slide and main body. I'm havin a bit of trouble gettin it to tune and the motor is all sealed up, fuel & pressure lines are good, and the tank (big 290cc tank) has no cracks or leaks. Here's a diagram of the carb and I have also marked in red the two pieces I'm talking about. The slide is marked with a red letter A and the body is marked with a red letter B. Also, the motor is a Thunder Tiger Pro 28. I'm not sure which pro 28 it is cuz there are a few different ones. This motor is only in the savvy cuz my STS has a leaking front bearing and it is just too much motor for my fusion (1/10 on-road car w/3-speed). Anyways, any help with this would be great. I don't really have the money for a new motor and this is a strong motor.

I used to have the same prob .. there is really nothing you can do .. Really only thing you can do is make sure you have a new dust boot that seals the best it possibly can

The dust boot is pretty tight. I struggled to get it off to check everything over. What about putting a little of the copper sealent around the ends of the boot and/or wrapping a zip-tie around the boot ends? Do you think any one of these will help? I mean, it's not leaking to the point to where fuel is pouring out, but it's noticeable. especially after it's all cleaned up and I run it again the next day out on the street (no dirt). Oh well, quess I gotta save up for a new motor. Gives me plenty of time to decide between LRP or SureFire.

Did you try the silicone spray? Did it work? What about some of that Associated Green Slime that you use on the o-rings for the HSN & LSN when you seal a motor? I'll give it a little more time before I try any of that. Or, try and find a replacement carb.
