K5.9 vs Octane motor on Savage 21

has anyone used the octane motor for there Savage? I am running a K5.9 and love the power on my old .21 chassis.

I wouldn't. for a multitude of reasons. it's not a good motor( very hard to tune, has a horrible exuast header that ive heard, and is underpowered imo) u also have to relocate the fuel tank( as well as but a new tank) and install the electronics box( so u have to relocate all of the servos) u have to get another hump pack( 2 if u don't have one already), basicly convert the truck to an octane. it's not worth the time and $$ just for a dissapiontment. I would go with the 5.9 for sure. it's a drop in modd.

Thanks for the advice. Yeah sounds like more trouble then it's worth.
