So, bought it, dropped it in, primed, new os 8 plug. third pull and fired right up.

For break in I used what the manual says, plus a beat of heat cycling mixed in. Tank #5 started to lean it out to where I was able to start shifter into second gear (new 3speed was put in at same time, i built it). I was very glad to see it all work great.

The power is insane just from th little tunning I have done which has been very very minimal. Fires up all the time with VERY little effort. Only issue I had was the piston kinda got stuck after I shut it down and ha to heat it up and get it free but no problems since.

I will keep posting as I contine to run this motor because I know there are some people who swear by em and some who hate the axial.

compared to the stock savage 25 motorI had and the hell i went through to start/breakin the motor plus how rough it was.... this new axial is 100x better. My LHS has one in their aftershock with 9+ gallons on it and it stil rips all the time.

i love my .28 axial.it has great low end and awsome top end with 17/47 gears.
when it is in first gear it will flip on its top any time.as for second gear it will tote the front wheels
