So i had did some reading and asking questions about waterproofing my servo (SF5) So i took my servo and dipped in performix plastic dip let it dry for an hour and then just cut out around the teeth of the gear to attach the horn and here is the finished product.

Looks like it would peel fairly easily. Let us know how it holds up. Good thing that it fits your color scheme. :lmao:

When I tried dipping a cheap servo in Plastidip it came out real thick and goopy. I made sure the dip was warm and mixed it up real good. Did you do anything different?

I had the same issue. Theres a thinner available from PlastiDip that allows you to thin that stuff to your liking. Since I didnt have that then and needed it done quickly, I just used a brush. Doesnt look as smooth as a proper dip but oh well, as long as its sealed...
