New parts install, ran for a full tank & in need of more new parts! LOL
2wd is quite squirrelly in wet grass, ha.. utility pole strikes first blow.

New parts added:
• new super bee kill switch-plays nice with my DX4R(killer bee V2 did not)
• sway bar kit
Life of an RC’r fix, drive, & repeat! Seems if I’m not breaking my rigs then I’m not having fun! - LOL

I think I ran RPM arms on mine when I had it. Guessing that saved me more than a few times.

I forgot how long that chassis was. I had the scorpion "shorty" chassis on mine.

Cut around 1.5" out of it.

Replacement parts are in! I may start the repair tonight after work so that the Baja is ready for this weekend.

How’s the build coming along? I’ve been away from the forum for awhile. A sister forum to this one is LSF-large scale forum, lots of good info there as well.

Yea, there are two clones 5b companies that come to mind, King Motors & Rovan. Some like them & some don’t.

Well, I did it again...I couldn’t pass it up! It’s a 5T in complete stock form & the fuelie 26 purrs like a kitten. I’m anxious about tearing it down & seeing exactly what I bought.

Onward and upward, more wrenching. Finally a HD set of rear lowers that are not aluminum! Turtle Racing teamed up with Phat Dad to create these composite masterpieces! Love’n Them “PhatArms”.

Phat Arm’s installed. Side note you have to cut your lower shock bolt to make them work and also drill out the first row of holes so that the unthreaded shank of the bolt can slide through. Do not drill all the way through and into the second set of holes or you will loose the stock for the threads to get a bite!!! I used a good set of calipers(mitutoyo carbides-sorry I don’t own Starrett’s) to pick the correct drill bit. Used my trusty Dremel to handle bolt cutting tasks.😎
