I'm planning on getting a Roto Starter for my Savage as right now i'm useing a drill that I don't think is fast enough to start the engine easily. I'm wondering I live in canada so i'm trying to find one here in canada so I don't have to worry about the crazy exchange rate and everything right now.

The Only two I can find are these two different models HPI-87132 (http://www.hpiracing.com/en/part/87132) and HPI-87148 (http://www.hpiracing.com/en/part/87148). I was looking at getting the first one cuz its $20 cheaper but that one says its for the Nitro Star 12/15/18 Engines and mine is the F4.1. Is there an actual difference between the two and would that first one work for my F4.1 engine?

The compatibility chart says you need roto set #87130 for a 4.1 engine by your post I suppose that you have a pull start and need it all.... so judging by that neither of those you listed is correct

No I currently have the roto start back plate and useing a drill thats too slow to easily start the engine. Hmm I personally would rather have a pull start. And i'm guessing would be cheaper. You have any idea which pull start would work for my engine?

well then just get the roto unit and wand for any of the savage lineup and then all ya need is the battery and a charger to use the hpi unit...

if you really want a knuckle busting pull start then any big block unit that uses a 12mm hex one way outta fit that engine...

Man don't do a pull start, I had pull start on old Truck and would never go back to it. The roto start that came with my 4.6 looks like a drill, others I've seen look more like a electric screwdriver with a handle on it. Mine dosent spin any faster than a drill. I figured if mine broke I would use a drill. Not sure how fast you want it to be, may tear something up if to fast.
