is it possiable to be stuck in 2nd

my truck dosent shift and wont pull wheelies. i have the ss so was it adj. at the factory? it will rev out but no shift, and i have turned the adj screw 2 1/2 turns cc and still no luck.

Yes it is possable. you will have to dissasemble it and see whats wrong with it thought. These transmissions are actually pretty simple.

Sounds like your shifting in to second right away, try adjusting your shift to "later shift" acording to the manual. It might take a few trys to get it but keep your cool. Don't tear into it just yet.

sounds like it is doing a quick shift into secound try adjusting it. Also it is always best to keep your cool with the savage. To much money in them to go braking them cause you get mad lol

Yes, you are shifting right into second gear, counter clockwise is to make it shift sooner, clockwise makes it shift later.

So go back in (clockwise) the 2 1/2 turns and start from there, if it is still going right into second go clockwise again by a quarter or half turn, you can always go in like 3 or 4 turns so it wont shift then go from there.

ok, thanks guys. that fixed it. i screwed it to far out when my clutch was slipping, i thought it wasnt hitting 2nd. i fixed the clutch, just bought a kyosho al. clutch shoes. now i set it so it revs out nicely then hits 2nd.
