IRC cen mugen

well the mail man showed up today with some goodies from IRC +6mm lcg tvp's and the midtank kit. also got the cen RX box and a mugen tank. got it about half together. Ill take some pix and get them posted up later on. Only complaint so far is the fit of the motor plate on the tvps. I had to file down about a 1mm to make it sit down all the way. other than that looks to be a good product.

ok here are the pics not from start to finish. wife was out of town with the digi when i got the parts and i couldnt wait... 🙂

had to remove the cover for the rx box. linkage was hitting.

a close up of the other side before i put it on so you can see what i had to file out

still have to take the motor out so i can clearence this are for the roto start plate so i can get the motor over all the way

I think the overall kit is pretty good. I would have expected it to fit together much nicer being as I used irc's tvp's and there mid tank kit and motor plate, they should have fit perfect. Not like I was mixing manufacturers. I think for my next one I will go with a diff company maybe flm. we shall see. I have a brand new ss kit in the garage for daddy day lol. so I just might start it with the flm stuff when i get around to building it.

I'm shocked it had alignment issues too. Guess there is not allot of IRC builds here to see a trend in this. Thanks for showing it!
