i am not a fan of itegy parts either...but i have broken the stock Xss plate at least 3 times .. costing me a clutch bell as well each time. I am now running that integy plate and it seems to be holding up good

Go with the FLM engine plate, you will not be dissapointed. I have also broken a FLM plate, but this was after numerous 15+ ft jumps on concrete and even more 15+ft jumps on hard packed dirt. Nothing is indestructable, but FLM parts can take a beating. If you break or bend them, FLM will replace for a fraction of the cost. If you do go with the FLM engine plate, you will need to use button head screws on the right side of the engine going into the engine mount because the plate is thicker and cap head screws will not fit under the tvp brace which will affect your gear mesh.

Heres a pic of the broken engine plate. This went through the same punishment as the previous pics in that thread, should be post #31...

where can i get the screws needed? I'm planning on ordering the FLM plate tonight

FLM Engine Plate sucks, due to the large holes on it, it's very weak, it's broken on the second tank after i installed. Then i got an Integy HD Engine Heatsink Plate, and it's wonderful, it's thick and the most durable engine plate i saw, it does not have any useless holes(to reduce weight) so it is hard to break it.
