Integy 7075 clutch installed

Will see how this holds up next spring. The Integy 7075 2 shoe in my 21TM revo seems to be holding up just fine. Never had a clutch where the springs go into holes in the shoes. At least I'm hoping that's how it works because that's how I put it together.

The springs seem kind of stiff compared to what it's replacing. I flexed the shoes a bit with a screwdriver to try and relax the spring a tad.

Increased my bell to an 18T. Hoping the 18T bell I have is hardened or it won't last long. Can't recall what I had it for, but it looks a lot like the HPI 17T HD bell it replaced.

I actually like that there is a placement for the spring. I assume that makes install a little easier? Only downside I can see immediately is that it removes, or atleast moves, the reference point for wear indication.

The install was easier. In all the vehicles I've had, I've never had a clutch like that though. Sadly, unless it gets above 50F here again, this thing is shelved until spring. I don't run my good engines in the winter.

Speaking of which... I need to put the POS TRX3.3 back in my revo for some vacation coming up.

Have you run this yet? I had to pound the pins back into my flywheel. It's close to time for a new one.

Completely forgot I did this... I haven't run it yet. When it was warm enough, I was running my 21Tm revo a bit.

I was going to work on putting a wing on the savage to help the body breaking issue, but ended up not doing it and just hoping the t-bonez rear skid/wheelie bar do better than the HPI wheelie bar. I did put a stock tank back on it though after lowering it 3/4 inch or so. Supposedly, this helps with the HTL issue. The seals on my 125cc ofna tank were going bad as was the spring, and the tank doesn't exist anymore to replace it.

I'll try to remember to update this thread once it warms up enough out. Expecting snow tonight and possibly 60F+ Sunday. Got to love mid-West weather...

Well, tried running it today, but had a calamity of issues. I haven't run my Savage since October and the o-rings in my LRP dried up causing the tune to be erratic and change while the engine ran. Also, the integy alloy 7075 shoes/springs I put in it engaged way too early, which also threw off tune and the 18T bell combined with the clutch issue just made for an awful run. When it ran cleanly, it was so fast I couldn't really control it in the grass.

So, I brought it home, found some silicone o-rings to replace the ones in the needles and green slimed them, also while trying to bend the leg of the springs on the shoes a bit to give them a bit more tension, one broke off and I don't have anything that fits it properly, so I found an old mildly used set of alloy ofna shoes/springs to give it a try and I put the 17T bell back on.

Will see if anythings improved tomorrow.
