Inspect your parts

A few weeks ago I received a new RR clutch bell in the mail. Like always, took it out of the package, marked a 17 on the side with a marker, and put it in the drawer next to my other new/good bells. When I went to install it yesterday I noticed it had been squashed way out of round to the point where it's unusable. I contacted the eBay seller, and they will not accept returns without all of the original packaging. So now I have a brand new rr CB that will make a nice keychain. Learning experience I guess, keep parts in the package until they're ready to go on the truck or inspect thoroughly upon arrival.

That's rough! Make sure you leave some bad feedback for the seller! A true professional wouldn't care about the packaging, only that the customer is taken care of.
