my savy started bogging out and dieing on me. it starts very easy when cold. runs pretty good untill it warms up then just starts running like crap 'bogging" and its almost impossable to start when warm/hot
ive checked for air leaks, none that i can see. I tried 3 different glow Plugs. adjusting rx, checked carb gap, set carb back to factory settings. and nothing is working.

The mill has 2-gallons on it. its a axial .28, broke in properly,

The thing has been running GREAT untill now. the only thing i have done to it was removed the pullstart to fix the pull cord..here is a vid so you can hear the bogging its about 1/2 way throu the vid when its out of camera's veiw

any help would be great. I'm trying to run with some friends latter today!!!

that vid does have some lean sounds on it. But at 2 gals you know your mill and I wont go there. It does lean out way to fast on its lid. Be it your settings or length of line. At the 1 min mark that is a lean bog. Id back it up the hsn 1 turn and see how it runs once its warm. then tickle it back on point

I say the HSN is rich from the amt of smoke and the straining sounds at the beginning. I also think your LSN is lean. Thats the high idle and that it doesnt like to come down or idle beffore killing.

You may want to check your main bearing, I have seen it many times where an engine will run perfect and then it all of a sudden starts acting up. I have also seen the main bearings in axials let go with less then a gallon on them, not sure why they keep using those cheap bearings but that "could" be the issue.

ok i got the bog figured out the LSN was too lean. so i richend it up allowing me to lean The HSN a bit.

now its something else when i let off the throttel it dose not idel down untill i hit the brakes. i don't think its a idel adjustment because it idels fine once i hit the brakes ???if its not one thing its another

That's an issue with your linkage. You can fix it by adjusting the throttle knob on your TX.

:thinking:when i adjust it clockwise the idel get too high and the truck moves on its own, counterclockwise and it dies :not enough idel: its really frustrating me now..

Adjust what? The TX knob or your idle?

its the needles...still to lean....ritchen up your hsn barely and the lsn...get good smoke from your mill after the hsn is adjusted to get good smoke nice speeds then barely adjust the lsn so it is crisp... your lsn is to lean ....

the lsn is set back to factory setting "flush" you think i should still ritchen it more?

the TX knob
could this be a crystal problem??

No turn the knob so your truck stalls. Then lean out the idle a tad. What happening is your idle isn't open far enough so when you hit the brakes if stalls. The only reason you truck is running right now is because your carb is opened slightly. Then you hit the brakes the carb closes and the truck dies. So just to reiterate, lean the idle out and turn your throttle adjustment counter clock wise.

i have the carb gap @ 1MM but i will try this method and see what happens, when i tryed this before the idel was too high but i did not adjust the TX back till it stalled maybe thats all i need to do.thank you for your help and everyone else as well. its so nice to have everyone so willing to help

first make sure the t/b trim on your radio is set to nutural. Apply full break and check your idle gap. You set the idle gap under break. Now release the break the idle should not open up. at the nutural possition there should be pressure on the linkage keeping the carb closed if not you need to adjust your linkage. You should not be using the trim knob to adjust idle. Once that is done you can retune your LSN and HSN.
