ya i bought a set of big tires threw them on and said no way.. i didnt like the big tire look at all.. but alot do like them for bashing but i would have to agree it must be harder on the drivetrain and another thing to keep in mind when switching to the huge tires a gear change is usually in order as well to compensate for the extra rotational mass from the huge tires!!!

shaun you ever have any problems running those wheel extensions? I was thinking of getting them but was hesitant. don't hear a lot about them

Piper, those are off the Cen GST 7.7. I'm runnin the same combo and love them. The only draw back is that they are 23mm hexes, so you'll have to get the Pro-line 23mm hex adapters. The rim/tire combo can be found on ebay, which would be your best bet. I usually get all my cen parts from Jenny's RCSports. He always has good prices on parts.
