Seems like a deal to me! What kind of shape is the motor in? Just judging by the pics it looks like you got a fully functional savage there. I'm by no means an expert on used savage stuff since I just got my first one a few weeks ago but that seems like a heck of a deal, now you afford to buy a bunch of cool new aftermarket stuff for it and build it the way you want without a huge initial investment. yeah its a 25 and a good deal if its rtr... i buy them for 150 all the time wont go more than that but they are prety available here where I'm at..nice addition start a fleet....

i thought it was a good deal to! i would not have went much more. but the add says its a strong running motor,"we will see" it does say the roto start is spun? but i have others. + i like the pull starts better ill probebly put one on it. i have already rebuilt one savage. so with what i know and the help from all of you, we will fix what ever problems their may be. ill keep you posted. it should ship today so maybe ill have it by next weekend..

good deal I am thinking of making a third savage but piece by piece without buying a stock one not much on the stock one I need. What I do need I probley have sitting in parts in my house. Need to put savage number two back together first though and finish the one I am rebuilding now. All these great Ideas spinning around in my head. One racer, one basher, and a stocker for friends to use and soon enough my son will be driving it.

well i got it in the mail today just have to wait to get home and tear into it ill let ya know how good of shape its in later. i cant wait! theis things are so addictive..lol

Well i recived the Savage yesterday, i must admitt its in better shape than i expected.their are a couple problems!!

1. need to buy Hump pack to replace the four AA battery set up.

2.The metal disc on the back side of the spur gear is stuck to the spur gear??

3. spur gear tention spring.

4. The brass spacer/washer that goes on the frount of the clutch bell is badly worn

5. the OWB is Trash!!

6. the back plate of the mill is warn to the point that the shaft wich holds the owb is loose (wobbles) causing a major leak

other than that its pretty inexpensive to fix and has great compression so I'm verry pleased with the truck.
if anyone has any ideas for me let me no
