Hi

Is the single speed conversion kit designed to fit in the Savage 25 two piece tranny case? I ask because the conversion kit I have is about 2mm too long to fit in the Savage 25 tranny case I have. At first I thought it was the shaft that was to long, but after grinding the ends down so they were flush with the sides of the bearings it's still to wide to fit in the case.

Hi

This is for a Electric Flux conversion. What I need to know is wether I have a defective conversion kit, or do I need to get a different tranny case because the conversion kit was not designed to fit into the Savage 25 tranny case. I have searched but can not find any info on converting the Savage 25 2 speed tranny to a 1 speed for flux conversion. I have read how people have locked the 2 speed up, but that is not what I am trying to do.

Here is what it looks like with the conversion kit in the tranny case, and if I try forcing the two halves together the bearings will lock up.

Hi

Well I fix the problem by cutting a new slot 2mm over for the E to fit in.
