HPI MT2 3.0 conversion... to a 4.6 big block

i bought a hpi mt2 not to long ago, and the engine is so finicky i changed the engine and decided to go with dual 160cc fuel tanks. I figure the 4.6 will be perfect for long distance road drives. i have a 13 tooth gear to start the hill climb adventures at my house, mud-pits and long creek runs. with but soon to be an 18 tooth for road use; this should all be running by the time all my parts get in around next week except for speical order ones...
All my cars are in the process of rebuilds and more waterproofing, my roommates have 3 other cars as well + my friends bike
I have a few mock up pictures without the roll cage and my rally'in body soon to get a new hummer

i should have some video of creek runs and 4x4 extreme hillclimbs; dirtbike track high speed race track
and theres always good mud too

anybody have good tips for 4.6 or anything please help
or even where to get RC10T3 parts

man i hate waiting for parts this sucks

got all the waterproofing done, just one more engine servo but i'm waiting on the crazy nut that holds the flywheel....

i got the purple exhaust and I'm gonna put some new shock oil in the back.... new body's comming later

got higher body mounts and tanks fully mounted all it needs is a new body with a little hole

i looking for 70-80 mph with the 18 tooth
and about 40 min of solid runtime

well that's the goal ill sacrifice speed for run time tho




should be faster than this for all of you who hate traxxas

i got her all together... and my roto start failed me....
should be back on the road soon with some good video after break in

just broke the wheelie king... again

i wanted to add a lot a weight and protect all my expensive goodies and it mounts to the original body mounts.... everything is the same custom springs and all the other fun stuff

wait till you see the track i got crazy hard hill climbs speed and technical ones
gotta dirt bike track bike jumps a creek run paintball field trail run

bunch a crazy things ill get a video soon of this thing gettin down on a brushless vxl wit some new crazy fast battery
 
The K4.6 historically has a problem with the mid-range need backing out of the carb. I pulled mine, put some ultra copper RTV on the threads, and re-installed it flush. Never had a problem again.

got her running on the first try 🙂

shame the gas tanks fell off today with all the rally'n and the roll cage needed help after yesterday

ill remount the tank later today and get a video



wow that this is really fast
