I just recently bought a used savage x from a guy i used to work with, he beat the #### out of it. its got an axial .32 spec1 in it. The immediate broken things consisted of a messed up spur gear, no brakes, broken fuel tank mount, and all kinds of screws missing. The first thing i did was start it, I ran a couple tanks through it. found out it wouldn't shift into 2nd, and it wouldn't pull wheelies. I tore it down replaced the spur gear, put on the roto start instead of the pull cord. replaced the dual red fiberglass disc brake, then couldnt get the motor back in because the bell gear hits the outside brake disc. shimmed the motor mount with a couple of washers, and lined the spur and cb up. Now the truck wont move, i think i have a clutch issue because it rolls fine when you push it, minus a little grind when it rolls backwards. hopefully i get this beast going in the next couple of days.
