Update! Pipe is on it's way from Robin, should be here this week.

No ERCM picco though :/ went with pipe instead for the time being but it will be modded for the next finals!

Started working on the truck the other day after a stop to the LHS. I did have to grab an exacto knife and trim the bulkheads to get the tvps to mount? Not sure why but got them on finally. Will get some pics in the next few days. Won't be running LCG towers this year. No funds/time for any truggy shocks.
 
Got my pipe in from Robin the other day and I think I just stopped drooling over it...oh wait, nevermind....I just saw it again! :lmao:

Anyways I got the TVP's mounted up today and ordered the FLM servo mounts. Will grab the camera tomorrow for quality pics that isn't from a cell phone.

Just got the fuel tank mounted, that is a huge step. Now just have to decide on the steering servo setup and rx box....gonna do some thinking on this one.
 
Well with the FLM setup I had it mounted to the TVP's. Can't quite get my servo mounted on the tvp's and even if I drilled holes for the the mounts, I don't think I can get any holes into the tvp's that I could use...soooo I get to mount the servo in the stock location.

With the Pull-start, we aren't doing anything in automotive so I brought the motor in today so I could seal it all up. Well had my PS laying on the desk, friend picked it up and the spring popped out....went to put it back in for 2 hours and then the spring snapped....

Wasn't happy to say the least, threw it across the room and walked out, lol.
 
I had my own anger management, I was good after I threw it and walked out.

Now just have to figure out what to do so I can break it in. Going to order a new PS tonight and hope to get it before wednesday. I will be breaking it in at the walnut so just a warning for those thinking they will get any sleep thursday night! :lmao: nah jk on that.
 
Just purchased two pull-starts from MyAtomic, hope they get here in time for me to get it together and broke in.

Got an extra just in case something happens during break-in.
 
Just did my radio box, have it in place, just have to decide how I am going to screw it down.

I put the Cen rx box in the same as my FLM setup but I also put the steering servo in the stock location......So RX box/steering servo all in the same area...hope it works out. Still have room for my RX, just need room for a RX pack.
 
Well I went a different route which I like. Kinda gives it the stealth look especially when you put the RX box lid on and don't see a steering servo!

I cut a hole in the bottom of the CEN rx box to allow room for the steering servo to come up through it. I still have a perfect fit for my Spektrum RX and I will have to get a smaller RX pack as my big 2700mah AA pack barely fit before...

Tank is mounted in place and so is the steering servo/rx box.

Alright went to the LHS today and picked up some linkage rods, 17t CB and CB bearings. Got the motor put in and just got done running 1/2tank through it.
