New member here. Got my first nitro car coming from on road electrics. I'm using the stock battery tray with 4 x 1.5v non rechargeable AAs as my NiMH batteries are 1.2v and the steering felt really weak. Steering still weak with this 6v pack but I noticed the failsafe never worked.
It's supposed to blink and set the servo to brake when the TX is turned off but it never does. Rebinded several times and have done the failsafe setup with no luck. Did I get a lemon?
The tech where I bought the car from is kinda giving me BS by saying it's a new thing HPI is doing to prevent the car from killing the servo in such a case, as the car is just going back to neutral but I'm assuming that's because of the spring. He even mentioned that the manual the car came with is old and some things aren't referenced properly.
