They still have 2 shock mounts, for the 8 shock set up. But the old arms had mounts top and bottom so you could turn the arms over the newer type have 2 mounts, one in front, one at back of the arm but nothing on the other side. Thanks, nice to know the newer ones are different for a single shock mount.
Ok, got it, my one savage has aluminum arms, which only have it on one side. I forgot the older stock arm's you could flip over. They still have 2 shock mounts, for the 8 shock set up. Where you located Savage59 ?Not yet, we are in a deep freeze here, so I'm going to wait for better weather.
On my ford bronco with the Dynomite .28, I had to move the upper cross brace to get the Dynomite roto start to work. I don't think it will work on a stock chasse, my Integy side plates are a little longer than the stock ones. I have my son in law, working on redesigning the gearbox side braces, but for now I took out the brace, and replaced the shock tower with a different style, that's beefier and eliminates the center cross brace so I can get a roto stater in.Nice 1 let us know how you get on with break in of mill?
Have you got roto start fitted can’t quite, see?
I've run with alloy arm on my T-Maxx for years and haven't had any problem. It's not all aluminum, I leave the outer knuckles for a weak point. The Savage red bronco will get used but not hard. but the Savage SS will be for bashingNice rig, although unless it is not going to get run the alloy arms look great, sadly alloy will bend and become useless, for bashing plastic will flex and mostly return to shape...
