HPI RF-40 Rx????

Does anybody know if the new HPI 2.4Ghz Rx (RF-40) will work with Spektrum Tx (DX3R)? I would like to know before I test it. Don't really wanna have to go through the binding process more than once. If anybody knows, help a brother out....please.

I doubt it most rx and tx are brand specific but you could try I hear hobbyking are making clones that work with spektrum for bout 10$ and I hear its alright but some fail to work
