HPI K4.6 or AXIAL .28 spec 1s

i want to buy an engine for my savage but i am unable to decide between these 2 engines. they both look the same.......they cost about the same.........and the power they product is also about the same.......


HOW DO I MAKE UP MY MIND......????????

i need some help/tips/opinions from the crowd!!!!

I would get the axial .28 over the 4.6.It has more top end than the 4.6 and its alot cheaper.Alot of guys on here love the axials. Just my 2 cents

Ah...didn't you just have an axial for sale not even a week ago?:dunno: I would buy a used hpi HO over a new axial any day of the week....am I jaded on axial? just a little bit

might wnt to read the link below. I originally wanted the Axial, but after reading this thread it completely turned me off. With that said, I bought an O.S.30VG. With almost two gallons of fuel run through it, it's a dream. Peace.

i have to agree with blazer x i run the 4.6HO and it screems. But keep in mind that i have not ran an axial but i have not had any problems out of my 4.6HO. I am running a 18/47 gear 3speed trans on it with extended IRC LCG TVP'S and it smokes the tires off the line . That to me screams power. Also the top end is crazy fast.
